Tale of Two Cities. Series Producer.
I produced a series of three events exploring gentrification in the city taking place at Goldsmiths University; Bush Hall & Rich Mix: representing different corners of the city and in particular areas undergoing rapid gentrification.
A collaboration between Decolonising Our Minds and Take Back The City, Tale of Two Cities brought together young artists from across London to share their stories of the city. We celebrate art as the expression of resistance, but also art as the opportunity for respite and healing.
Performers included Big Zuu, Caleb Femi, Lex Amor and Mad Professor.
Co-Curators: Zahra Delilah and Zain Dada

Curating London Living Room Installation. Curator.
I developed this installation with FerArts, transforming a West London shop-front into a pop-up West London Living Room.
The shop build encouraged young people on the project to bring items from their own home, as well as items sourced from the local Portobello and Golborne markets to dress the shop as an authentic West London living room.
The installation space would then become the centre of an oral history collecting project, where residents were invited to join us in the living room and record their West London’s stories from the comfort of the Curating London sofa. The living room was open for over a month in November 2019 and the project collected over 30 hours of oral history in the process, plus Living Room portrait series.
Portraits taken by me.
