Tale of Two Cities. Series Producer.
I produced a series of three events exploring gentrification in the city taking place at Goldsmiths University; Bush Hall & Rich Mix: representing different corners of the city and in particular areas undergoing rapid gentrification.
A collaboration between Decolonising Our Minds and Take Back The City, Tale of Two Cities brought together young artists from across London to share their stories of the city. We celebrate art as the expression of resistance, but also art as the opportunity for respite and healing.
Performers included Big Zuu, Caleb Femi, Lex Amor and Mad Professor.
Co-Curators: Zahra Delilah and Zain Dada

Mapping Us. Producer (2018)
I developed #MappingUs!, an art-research project comprising two intensive workshops at MayDay Rooms with young artists, which were the foundation of three films produced by young people.
The premise of the Mapping Us! project is to use creative means to map out and bring attention to the places, people and projects, which are of significance to young Londoners, but which have not been well-documented or widely celebrated.
Three short films were developed by young first-time filmmakers which looked at themes of home, belonging, change in their respective London neighbourhoods. Works premiered at Primary Gallery in Nottingham.
The project was funded by AHRC and Creative Interruptions.
Stills from 'Gentrimental'.
